The Gong Yang N80B Automatic Exchange Right Angle Milling Head is engineered to expand multi-axis and horizontal cutting capabilities on CNC machining centers and double-column plano-millers, economically transforming standard vertical machining into versatile, multi-purpose production. Featuring a compact profile and ergonomic setup, the unit incorporates an integrated 360° graduated index ring for swift and precise orientation of the cutter angle. It is exceptionally well-suited for accessing confined internal slots, deep-cavity boring, end-face trimming, and bevel chamfering across complex workpieces, substantially reducing setup cycle times while driving shop-floor automation.

Built for dependable cutting rigidity, dynamic balance, and prolonged service life, both the spindle shaft and drive gearing are precision-machined from high-grade chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, rigorously carburized, heat-treated, and precision ground. Fitted with high-precision ball bearings and lubricated with premium Klüber Isoflex NBU-15 grease, the N80B excels in high-speed operations and precision light-milling applications. The head accommodates drive power up to 38 KW and an output torque of 1200 N.m with a 1:1 drive ratio at speeds up to 2000 RPM, supporting cutter diameters up to ψ150 mm. The spindle utilizes BT taper tooling with an integrated hydraulic tool clamping and unlamping mechanism for seamless automatic tool changer (ATC) integration. Designed strictly for clockwise (forward) cutting duty—reverse rotation is dedicated exclusively to tapping and counterboring cycles and must never be applied to milling or drilling—the N80B ensures uncompromising geometric accuracy and long-term operational reliability.
