N30 / N45 Series Angular Head (30° / 45°)

The Gong Yang N30 and N45 Series 30° / 45° Angular Milling Heads are engineered to expand machine tool angular milling capabilities, seamlessly adapting the spindle orientation to perform dedicated 30° or 45° inclined cutting operations. Fitted with precision-ground spiral bevel gears, the transmission delivers smooth power delivery, reduced backlash, and outstanding wear resistance. The head integrates a 360° graduated index ring that allows operators to conveniently align and position the cutting direction, making it an ideal attachment for deep-pocket boring, slot milling, end-face trimming, and bevel chamfering across complex workpieces.

Engineered for high rotational stability and extended service life, both the spindle shaft and drive gearing are precision-machined from high-grade chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, rigorously quenched, hardened, and precision ground. Equipped with high-precision ball bearings optimized for high-speed operation and light cutting duty, the series accommodates driving power up to 38 KW and 1000 N.m of cutting torque, with operating speeds up to 2000 RPM across standard #50 spindle tapers and tool diameters up to ψ150 mm. The spindle is compatible with NT or BT shanks (BT pull studs must be removed, and dedicated matching drawbars can be specified upon order) to ensure long-term geometric precision and operational reliability.
