The Gong Yang A75, N75, and N75C Series 90° Angular Milling Heads are engineered to expand the horizontal and angular machining envelope of machine tools, seamlessly reorienting the cutting spindle for lateral and vertical operations. Featuring a compact footprint and ergonomic setup, the series integrates a 360° graduated index ring that allows operators to precisely orient the cutter direction, making it an ideal attachment for complex machine tools performing internal slot boring/milling, end-face trimming, shoulder finishing, and bevel chamfering.
Built for dependable cutting rigidity and extended operational life, both the drive gears and spindle shafts are forged from high-grade chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, rigorously quenched, hardened, and precision ground. Fitted with precision ball bearings optimized for high-speed operation and light cutting duty, the series accommodates driving power up to 38 KW and output torque ratings from 1000 to 1200 N.m, with operating speeds up to 800 or 2000 RPM across standard #50 spindle tapers. The drive is engineered strictly for clockwise (forward) cutting duty—reverse rotation is dedicated exclusively to rigid tapping and screw socket operations and must never be used for milling or drilling—ensuring long-term geometric precision and operational reliability.
