The Gong Yang K73 and K75 Extend Heads are engineered to expand the axial reach and machining envelope of machine tools, seamlessly facilitating both vertical and horizontal milling operations. Featuring a compact footprint and ergonomic setup, the series is available in two extended reach lengths (300 mm for the K73 and 500 mm for the K75), allowing cutters to access deep bores, internal pockets, and confined cavities beyond the reach of standard spindles—eliminating secondary workpiece setups and drastically reducing machining cycle times.
Constructed for high structural rigidity during deep-cavity milling, the spindle shaft is forged from high-grade chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, rigorously quenched, hardened, and precision ground. Heavy-duty tapered roller bearings provide superior dynamic load absorption for low-speed, high-torque cutting cycles. Supporting up to 63 KW of spindle drive power, 1200 N.m of cutting torque, and operational speeds up to 2000 RPM, the series fully accommodates standard #50 shanks (compatible with NT and BT tooling; BT pull studs must be removed, and dedicated matching drawbars can be supplied upon order) to maintain dependable geometric accuracy under demanding heavy-duty applications.
